3 Reasons Why You Should Live In The Moment

We frequently lose sight of the present as we become distracted by our aspirations for the future. The fun from our lives is stolen when we say things like, "I can only do..after I've gotten.." or "I can only do..when I'm.." And every day becomes a blur that repeats itself for a full year.

Even God advises against worrying about the future and urges us to focus on the present moment. He wants us to give him all our worries and problems so that we can live in the moment.

You'll discover that your dreams or aspirations will manifest more quickly if you start living the life you desire now and start doing the things the highest version of yourself would do rather than waiting until you accomplish a certain goal or reach a certain level. You attract the things you want—the things that resonate with that high version of yourself—when you visualize your best self and begin behaving and acting in that way.

Living in the present moment makes you feel less stressed, more at ease, and even happier. You have the impression that you have already attained your goal. Everything is a process, and you may accomplish a lot by developing an abundant mindset.

Ladies, Romanticize your lives more. Suffering doesn’t define or determine success. You don’t have to wait until you find a new man before trying out new restaurants or even luxurious places. It's good to go on solo dates. They aid in your self-discovery. Also, you encounter new people when you go out. How are you supposed to meet new people or find a new man if you spend all your time inside? Lol.

I strongly suggest treating yourself occasionally, no matter how little. You are establishing a standard for yourself in this manner, which increases your motivation.

Take a moment

Consider how you'd feel if someone gave you a gift to cheer you up or to celebrate an achievement (such as getting your first job after numerous interviews or passing a test you worked hard for).

That’s what I mean

In addition to discovering myself last year, one of the things I also understood was how to live in the moment. I'm very ambitious, and occasionally I get so caught up in all my future plans that I forget to enjoy the present. I came to the realization that on some days, I could hardly recall what I did or what I accomplished the previous month, and it occasionally caused me to lose track of things. It turns out that journaling is a fantastic way to keep your mind grounded. I learnt this after listening to Steve Harvey discuss the significance of journaling and gratitude. The next time we feel like we're not doing enough or that things aren't going as planned, he advised us to always write down all of the things for which we are thankful.

Just as 2023 drew near, I made a promise to myself that I would begin living in the present and acting more like the person I hoped to become. So far, my effort has been effective.

I want you to get a journal today, write down your objectives, things you're thankful for, and things you want God to help you achieve. Pray about it, believe it, and implement it. Live in the moment as though you have already succeeded. Start your day with intention. Through prayer and supplication, make God aware of your needs and the course you want your day to take. Then, watch it unfold.

Dare to dream; life is too short to spend one more year doing the same thing and getting the same old results. Try something new; you never know—it might be the change you've been looking for.
